ACT Intergenerational Forum 2007

On Tuesday 30th of October, 120 people gathered at the ANU to attend a free public forum on ageing research. Six Canberra postgraduate students spoke about their research on various topics in successful ageing, including:

Dr Clive Hamilton, from the Australia Institute, gave a fascinating keynote lecture on Baby Boomers’ Attitudes towards Retirement.

There were also two public discussion forums, were a panel took questions from the floor and engaged in a lively debate and discussion on the following topics:
